Zarghoona Hassan runs two radio programs for women and young people in Afghanistan. Hassan used to live in Kunduz, where the German military was based in Afghanistan during the NATO ISAF mission. When they left, the Taliban took control of Kunduz and burned her radio station down. She fled to the capital Kabul - she never backed down and now, her programs are up and running again.
