Efforts to unveil this bias show Planned Parenthood locating up to 86 percent of its abortion offices in or near minority neighborhoods. According to a recent article Blacks and Latinos comprise just 20% of the population yet represent 45% of all U.S. abortions. Recent CDC Abortion Surveillance reveals that of all ethnicities Black women had a ratio of abortion five times higher than that of white women.

Now a recent report collates the admissions of Planned Parenthood affiliates in 33 states to systemic racism in their day-to-day operations. Affiliate of the North Central States said, “We are owning our organization’s history and…structural racism within our organization….”

If Planned Parenthood is admitting that racism drives their abortion business, could anything other than political racism allow it to continue?

Can this be clarified? Does that mean pregnancies versus abortions, abortions versus live births?

I know what you’re trying to say but this term isn’t clear to me. There is hypocrisy in decrying structural racism elsewhere and demanding systems/organizations be dismantled…and support for PP is inconsistent with that rhetoric. Can this point be made more clearly but still succinctly?
