Three Lessons From the First Place of Worship:

1- Abraham did not hesitate to give what was most precious to him. We must learn the art of sacrificing idols promptly, especially when it costs us everything.

2 - Abraham did not argue with God. We must learn to recognize our hesitancies for what they are: idols of understanding

3 - Abraham did not expect someone else to do the sacrificing for him. We must learn how to rhythmically live on the altar and fight our flesh to stay there.
