Prayer: Jesus, save the lost and guide the saved.
Big Idea: Our relationships and rhythms shape our lives.
Hebrews 10:19Hebrews 10:20
In the East, men expressed sorrow by tearing their garments. The temple, when it be held its Master die, seemed struck with horror and tore its veil, shocked at the sin of man, indignant at the murder of its Lord, in its sympathy with Him who is the true temple of God the outward symbol tore its holy vestment from the top to the bottom. Did not the miracle also mean that from that hour the whole system of types and shadows and ceremonies had come to an end? The ordinances of an earthly priesthood were rent with that veil.

Hebrews 10:22
When I get honest, I admit I am a bundle of paradoxes. I believe and I doubt, I hope and get discouraged, I love and I hate, I feel bad about feeling good, I feel guilty about not feeling guilty. I am trusting and suspicious. I am honest and I still play games. Aristotle said I am a rational animal; I say I am an angel with an incredible capacity for beer.

What happens in worship can’t be replicated or prefabricated in any other way because God reserves special gifts of His presence for the physical and corporate worship gatherings of the church.
Zac HicksYes; there are some who even make a bad use of what ought to be a great blessing, namely, the printing-press, and the printed sermon, by staying at home to read a sermon because, they say, it is better than going out to hear one. Well, dear friend, if I could not hear profitably, I would still make one of the assembly gathered together for the worship of God. It is a bad example for a professing Christian to absent himself from the assembly of the friends of Christ. There was a dear sister, whom many of you knew, who used to attend here with great regularity, although she could not hear a word that was said; but she said it did her good to join in the hymns, and to know that she was worshipping God with the rest of his people. I wish that some, who stay away for the most frivolous excuses, would think of this verse: “Not forsaking the assem bling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is.

Be Present.
Jesus, I recognize that I am a sinner in need of Your forgiveness. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins. I want to turn away from my sins and place my trust in You as my Lord and Savior. Please receive me now. I pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
