Have you ever wondered how can I please God?
How can I make God smile?
How can I make God’s day?
Well, here's a suggestion: Worshiping God is what makes his day, makes him smile, and that's what pleases God. Worship pleases God; the text says, "This will please the Lord more than an ox, more than a bull with its horns and hoofs." In other words, God is more pleased with worship than with all the sacrifices we could make to him. David is used to making sacrifices to God of bulls and cattle, but here he writes that worship will please God more than these sacrifices.
It lets us know that God is so into us that instead of the things we can give him, and above the things we can give, he wants our Worship because Worship pleases him.
The Bible says, "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship." Romans 12:1 NIV. Hence, our bodies become the sacrifice that God requires, and He is pleased with this sacrifice of Worship.
Worship pleases God. If you want to please God, then develop the habit and attitude of Worship, and you will please God, and your life will be transformed in Him.
