Life's Happening Devotional

Worship God IV

Listen Later

Today, our Worship also affects others. I can remember Worshipping, albeit in Church, but when I was done and outside in the parking lot, someone said, "You blessed me today." I'm thinking, what? Where? When? How? I didn't preach, teach, or even lead worship, which are all things that I do and have done. But it was followed by, "Your worship was such a blessing today." Wow, to God be the glory when your worship can bring joy and bless others; you’re pleasing God.

Worshipping God is contagious; it affects those around us, it affects our lives, and it brings changes in our lives that otherwise would not be. I've also had others say to me, "I love the way you worship," and I've always felt embarrassed by it because you become self-conscious, but here in the Psalm, we get another picture: it is supposed to affect others. Let your worship affect those around you and make their hearts live, cause the poor to see and be glad.

Our worship of God gives hope to the hopeless, and it brings life to their hearts.

Family, we might find it personal when we get into worship with our God, but others dealing with difficult situations will rejoice and be glad when “YOU” Worship God. My challenge is to Worship God like someone's life depends on it; it might. Let your worship bless others and inspire them to worship and change their lives.

God bless you.
