The vision of the church is “a place of refreshing & restored hope”.

How do we get there but by mission:

  • By attending our service and experiencing the liberty in our worship

    • Brings refreshing

    • By our passion for making disciples (Home Bible studies, Discipleship 101)

      • Brings restored hope

      • By connection – fellowship (connecting small groups, serving in a ministry)

        • Brings a maturity

          • Worship: 5 Powerful Effects of Worship

          • Worship clarifies my vision of who God is. The prophet Isaiah saw the Lord as high, exalted, and holy. Isaiah 6:1-3 We get a glimpse of his holiness and greatness in the Bible.

          • It changes my perspective. Isaiah realized and confessed his unclean nature. God then cleansed him and emboldened Isaiah to go speak. He gained a new perspective, going from cautious to courageous. Isaiah 6:4-8.

          • It strengthens my heart. Psalm 103:1-5 recounts benefits and blessings from God—forgiveness, healing, redemption, and renewal—which leads to praising God’s holy name.

          • It reassures me of God’s presence when I am down. Psalm 73:23-26

          • Adoration produces joy. Psalm 16:11
