After a great win over the Mavericks on Tuesday night, the Brooklyn Nets followed that up by losing a tough one to the Houston Rockets. Sure, the Nets were without Kevin Durant and LaMarcus Aldridge who rested on the second half of the back-to-back, but this still felt like one they should have pulled out. James Harden went back to Houston and played a game much like he used to in his days with the Rockets. He basically needed to considering the Nets’ personnel for the game.
The Nets went with a new starting lineup, but leaned into the rookies as well with Cam Thomas and David Duke Jr. getting extended run. But it wasn’t enough and the Nets came up short.
