Luke 2:8-14


1. Anticipation: The good news was predicted

Malachi 3:1


Challenges without hope lead to despair. 

Challenges with anticipation lead to joy.


Isaiah 40:9-11


2. Desperation: The good news was needed.

Isaiah 61:1-3

3. Deliverance: the Good News brought freedom.
