As the heavenly throne room scene continues, the focus turns towards the Lamb who was slain. The heavenly glory that fills chapter 4 is just the backdrop to the glory and splendor of the worthy Lamb who takes the scroll from Him who is seated on the throne. In order for us to endure through the trials and changing perspectives of our day, we must lift our gaze to the heavenly throne room and behold the Lamb who was slain for us.
