A new year begins a new series. What does it mean to be alive in Christ- There's no end to how we can answer that faithfully with the Scriptures. We start at the beginning, however---You must enjoy God, living in him, with him, and for him as the Greatest Joy and Good. --Anselm said, -He is that One greater than which no other can be thought.- If this is true, how can we possibly find our greatest delight in another- --Would the Son of God die so our greatest joy can be in something or someone else- Certainly not.--To be really alive in Jesus means having a delight in the Father the same way Jesus did. Let God be your delight and happiness. Then you will be really happy in all things.
