Eric Portelance makes beer. He makes really good beer.    Eric opened Halo Brewery with his business partners in 2016, and they've been cranking out liquid masterpieces ever since. For people of Toronto, we’re a pretty lucky bunch enjoying Halo’s innovation and creativity.   Innovation and creativity doesn’t come without a price.  Looking at Toronto's staggering price of real estate, this did not prove to be as easy as falling off a hop filled log. The challenges that Eric and his partners went through taught them some valuable lessons such as: does writing a business plan really make sense?
