Woven In the Body: Reframing Our Potential

Woven in the Body Episode 12: Leading Forth: Healing with Horses

Listen Later

This conversation is about healing trauma through the intelligence of nature—with horses, with the land, and through the body’s own wisdom.

I’m joined by Dr. Gail Todter, founder of GalleyWinter Farm and Integrative Health Services, whose equine-assisted holistic approach helps people return to nervous-system regulation and embodied trust, and by Lacie Morrison, yoga teacher and vibrational healer who integrates breath, sound, and ancestral psychology.

Together we explore how horses mirror human emotion and physiology, guiding us into co-regulation and parasympathetic calm; how craniosacral therapy and psychology reveal the stories stored in the body; and how synchrony in nature—signs, sensations, and symbolic encounters—becomes a teacher in trauma recovery.

Our dialogue is both scientific and mystical: a study in resonance, remembrance, and the living field of connection that unites body, psyche, and the natural world.
