This is #32 of 52 episodes for 2021. Its Episode 525, and this week is a little different. Due to an unexpected death in our family this last week, we have found ourselves without the time or ability to do the usual show this week.
Though we wanted to make sure that there is something here for our listeners and viewers! Make sure you know we haven't forgotten about you.
A few things that we wanted to let you know are: the contest will go for an extra week, no winner will be chosen this week, and there is some news for you to check out, though not as much as usual. This show was pre-recorded, so the YouTube show is not live this time. We will be back with our full, regular live show for Thursday, August 26th! And we look forward to seeing you then!
In the mean time, remember to get yourself out there and into the sunshine before it vanishes for the winter, and make sure to give that relative you don't see often a call just to say hi. Family is always worth setting down whatever you are currently working on just to say hi and to send them your love.

Canadian VPN provider Windscribe admits seized Ukrainian servers weren’t encrypted – Windscribe, a Canadian-based VPN provider, says it realized two of its servers that were seized last year by Ukrainian authorities were unencrypted, leaving open the possibility that, at least temporarily, someone could have accessed traffic. Since discovering the incident earlier this month the company has been overhauling its infrastructure to improve security.
Rejection of ‘WP' Prefix Plugins – Worries over the possible abuse of the the TradeMark, WordPress is experimenting with refusing plugin submissions with the ‘WP' prefix.
Further discussion on Gutenberg Project lead Matias Ventura on the Barrier to Entry – I seem to have missed the first part of the article last week, though from what I am getting from this article, there is a barrier on entering into the WordPress world. And Gutenberg is considered part of this barrier. Interesting article, worth your time!
