On this episode of Why People Do What They Do, we speak to Soonufat Supramaniam on his journey to being a teacher and educator. He is the founder of Leadspire Academy (@leadspireacademy) based in Parit Buntar, Perak. It is an education centre that aims towards making learning fun and relevant again through innovative teaching practices that focus on mastery-based learning including performing arts. Soonufat, more fondly known as 'Sir Soon' among his students also shares stories of his experience working as a teacher and a mentor to high school students in the rural town of Lubok Buntar, Kedah.
