Why would you celebrate Christmas? Do you beleive in God or Jesus? Is it a tradition? A tradition of what? Did you earn Christmas? What makes one "earn" Christmas?
Why not?
I believe we MUST live forthright with the world. We must strive to be as honest with yourself as possible. To fill our proper place in the world. And manifest the best ME we can be by projecting that honest outwardly as well as inward. This means searching out our pitfalls. Identifying our weaknesses and trying out best to fill in those gaps. If we are honest with ourselves and each other this is growing processes which ends are beyond what we can imagine. This also means being honest about our strengths as well. We've been trained to believe being honest about one's strengths in vain and pretentious. It may very well be. BUT we are all striving to be honest AND you're incorrect about the capacity or competence others would point that out. Lastly, in line with this conversation. WE MUST BE willing to deny ourselves that which we didn't earn. That which we do not deserve nor earned nor are entitled to.
