We will examine the highly preposterous exuberance of Jacob wrestling with God, an Angel in physical form called the “man”, for a blessing! We are taught that, as unsaved people, we live in darkness. Even after we are saved we still live in a dark world that presently, seems to be only getting darker. However, it is said, it is always darkest before the dawn. The dawn of what commentary called, “the perfect state, when the everlasting day of glory will break.”.
