International Elephant Day is celebrated since 12th August 2012 as initiated by .Patricia Sims and Elephant Reintroduction foundation of Thailand. The day is observed to make people aware of the threats that elephants have. There are three existing species of elephants, with grey skin and wrinkles all over their body.
