When something is important we write it down. Starting September 8th and continuing through the fall, we’re flipping to the last book in the Bible and diving into the seven letters Jesus writes to seven first-century churches. These letters detail how the church is called to reflect the character of Christ. Like a good director giving constructive notes, Jesus commends areas where they align with Him and corrects areas that need improvement; These ancient letters remain relevant to us as modern readers who seek to embody Jesus and make Him know in a culture of idolatry, autonomy and materialism. So, write this down. These are notes on how to stay in the character of Christ.
