The written word is a powerful thing

It can create waves that make you howl or sing

Take what you can weave and make life fly

You are not here just to pay bills and die

In you is a splinter of gawds creation

I use words and colour to weave my intention

But yours may take a different form

Just take a leap and sound your horn

Now is your time to grasp the nettle

It may sting a bit but you do prove your mettle.
