Listen Later

Many creative entrepreneurs struggle with having a well-defined process for turning service inquiries into paying clients and projects. Most of the time the way it goes is that someone reaches out to you, you send over your pricing, some back, and forth emails, and then sending your Paypal link. This is a loose-y goosey process where most end up with a lot of inquiries, but not many sales.

It’s important to have a well-defined sales process for two reasons: you’re able to vet out the wrong clients and close the right ones. Having some steps in your sales process will allow you to filter out the people you don’t want to work with and convert your target customers. But how do you make them want to work with you? In this week’s episode, I will be talking about how a proposal for your prospective clients and the 7 things you should include to help them make a decision to move on to signing the contract and payment. The 7 things you should include in your proposals are:

  • Objective or goal
  • Benefits
  • Scope of Work
  • Deliverables
  • Client Expectations
  • Scheduling
  • Price
