The Tari Experiment

Writing the rules of a whole new LAW game, with Alex Solo

Listen Later

The Tari Experiment’s first interviewee had to be none other than Alex Solo.

Because, Alex Solo, co-founder of law start-up Sprintlaw, really encompasses the kind of human being and the kind of project we want to highlight and share with the world in this podcast.

Alex co-funded Sprintlaw in 2017 together with his partner, Tomoyuki Hachigo, a law/tech firm that's currently transforming the way legal services are delivered to businesses and one of Australia’s top-ranked legal tech businesses in Deloitte’s APAC Technology Fast 500 (2021).

The firm was also named NewLaw Firm of the Year (2020) and Innovator of the Year (2019) at the Australian Law Awards and won the Australasian Lawyer’s Employer of Choice Award (2020) and the LexisNexis Legal Innovation Index Award (2018).

Alex was named by Lawyer’s Weekly as the top under 30 technology lawyer in Australia in 2019.

But beyond all those brilliant ideas, titles, and many achievements, Alex is probably one of the most humble, focused, and joyful persons you’ll meet in your life.

So, how does he do it?

How does he balance making a profit and developing such an innovative business model proven to thrive even in pandemic times while taking care of himself and his staff?

How does the co-founder of one of the strongest firms in the NewLaw stage go about writing his own rules?

We’ve asked him these and many other questions.

You’re guaranteed to love his journey, model, and mindset.

PS Alex is also a talented musician currently one of the four members of the very slick Dream Cities Band.
