Few singers in rock have as impressive a pedigree as Jeff Scott Soto, and We Talk Music was ecstatic to have him join us to talk his latest project, Earthrage by W.E.T.

W.E.T. is composed of JSS, Erik Mårtensson and Robert Säll. They’re joined by some of the finest backing musicians in Europe and Earthrage is their 3rd album, all released through Frontier Records srl.

Jeff Scott Soto tells us about how this album came together, the songwriting process, and his role in the band compared to with his other supergroup Sons of Apollo.

We also get into playing different genres of music, the greatness of Queen, his thoughts on the passing of Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s Paul O’Neill and why Jeff Scott Soto thought Stephen Hawking was so important.
