With WWE coming off the heels of the biggest television audience in North American wrestling history, and also well on their way to that year's Wrestlemania 4, they presented another prime-time special on NBC-the 15th edition of Saturday Night's Main Event. The show featured Hulk Hogan against King Harley Race and a prelude to the final of the coming tournament to crown a new World Champion, as Randy Savage and Ted Dibiase faced one another just weeks before their Wrestlemania 4 collision.
