part 3 of 3 Getting Color Commentary Father Lloyd, Derrick and BT review WWE smackdown from 6/5/26
GUNTHER appeared in the ring, making a giant tirade after Cody Rhodes willingly cheated to retain the WWE Title. Cody Rhodes got in the ring to confront GUNTHER to address the finish, but Sami Zayn interrupted to brag that to had previously defeated GUNTHER. The three of them brawled.
The Miz was electrocuted after touching Danhausen’s machine. Danhausen may want to lay low after that.
Queen of the Ring First Round: Raquel Rodriguez (w/ Liv Morgan) def. Bayley, Kiana James (w/ Giulia), Jacy Jayne (w/ Lainey Reid & Fallon Henley).
Giulia & Kiana James brawled after the match, officially ending their partnership.
Chad Gable returned to SmackDown to interrupt Sami Zayn & Nick Aldis’s conversation.
Talla Tonga (w/ Solo Sikoa & Tama Tonga) def. Royce Keys.
Damian Priest & R-Truth appeared at ringside after the match.
War Raiders confronted R-Truth to say they were coming for the WWE Tag Titles.
Rhea Ripley appeared for a promo, but she was interrupted by Charlotte Flair. Flair said she was happy to team with Ripley, but she looked forward to being in the ring across her after she wins the Queen of the Ring. Tiffany Stratton then interrupted, befuddled by Flair’s comment, but then Jade Cargill, B-Fab & Michin appeared. This set up a tag match.
Jade Cargill & Michin (w/ B-Fab) def. Charlotte Flair & Tiffany Stratton.
Fatal Influence attacked Brie Bella & Paige backstage.
Ricky Saints def. Carmelo Hayes.
Trick Williams went head-to-head with Bron Breakker backstage.
Solo Sikoa continued to try to recruit Royce Keys to MFT.
Chad Gable apologized to Rey Fenix for the way he treated Lucha Libre over the past year. Fenix accepted the apology but emphasized that he hadn’t offended only him.
Nick Aldis told Cody Rhodes he will defend the WWE Title in two weeks against GUNTHER on SmackDown in a stipulation of GUNTHER’s choosing.

Oba Femi appeared for a promo to say he would become the next King of the Ring, and that was not a prediction; that was a spoiler. Femi said he was also coming for a trophy; Brock Lesnar’s head. Dominik Mysterio interrupted to say Femi was overlooking him, but he was silenced by a sea of “OBAAAA” chants. Mysterio then told Femi to bend the knee and respect the stache. JD McDonagh tried to hit Femi with a chairshot, but Femi was unfazed and punched McDonagh in the face. Femi then told

Chad Gable apologized to Penta for the havoc he caused as Original Grande Americano. Penta accepted the apology, but told Gable he knew who to reach out to.
Bayley hyped up Lyra Valkyria backstage.
WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Sol Ruca (c) def. Lyra Valkyria to retain the title.
The Usos complained to Jacob Fatu for not taking care of Seth Rollins, but Fatu told them to focus on LA Knight, and he only acknowledged Roman Reigns.
LA Knight appeared for a promo, saying he was aware The Bloodline would try to stop him from taking the title belt from Roman Reigns. Jey Uso interrupted Knight and told him this was his warning shot. Knight then told Uso this: “Screw your family.”
Chad Gable apologized to Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee, but they said they were all good. After that, Mysterio told Gable there might have been things he did before he wore the mask that he might regret.
WWE Intercontinental Championship: Penta (c) def. Rey Mysterio to retain the title.
Roxanne Perez spoke with Liv Morgan, saying it would be better if Liv won the Queen of the Ring Tournament and even faced Raquel Rodriguez in the finals. Morgan IMMEDIATELY moved on to a different topic: a strategy to help Dominik Mysterio defeat Oba Femi.
