The esteem of being called the first proper Pay-Per-View in wrestling history doesn't go to Starrcade 1983, or even the first ever WrestleMania, it goes to a show that took place just a few months later in 1985, The Wrestling Classic, featuring a one night, 16-man tournament and a World Title match pitting Hulk Hogan against his nemesis 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper.
