The topic covered this week relates to the LGBTQIA+ community and Ben explains the position of Impact and ISM on the issue. Four points of belief he discusses are as follows: 1. God loves and wants to be in relationship with LGBTQ people. 2. The Church should embody God’s love and care for LGBTQ people, and yet, we typically haven’t. 3. God defines and designed marriage to be between a man and a woman and that all sexual relationships outside this covenant bond are sin - including same-sex sexual relationships. 4. We believe that our biological sex determines whether we are male or female.

We encourage parents to listen to this topic as well so that you are equipped with some truths if your student comes to you with questions or discussions.
