Professionally, Kamala has seen the sights of all the island hospitals and a vast amount of private imaging departments. This includes The Shepherd Center in Atlanta, Georgia, The Harbour UCLA Hospital in California, USA as well as Metropolitan Hospital in New York, USA. Close to the completion of her degree, she interned at the Kingston Public Hospital. She worked at Radiology West for nine years where she served as a radiographer/cardiac CT technologist/Interventional radiographer/ mammographer and student liaison offer.
