The latest Xbox Activision deal news has two significant things happening. First, Congress steps in and sends a letter to Japan regulators and in the wake of it they have approved the deal. The Microsoft Activision Blizzard deal is not quite done, but it seems to be getting closer.

Many are still considering the impact of a Call of Duty Xbox exclusive. Jim Ryan and Playstation have been focused on COD and now might be the time to sign the 10 year deal. However, Sony Playstation may be able to get a better deal while Xbox and Phil Spencer keeping winning public points with Call of Duty contracts.
