Ed is a Production and Mechanical Engineer, currently a member of the YPO (Young Presidents' Organization) Miami chapter, currently a member of the HBS (Harvard Business School) Alumni Angels of South Florida, and graduated from the Harvard Business School OPM program being awarded as the OPM Idol Winner. Ed started his entrepreneurial career as the Founder & CEO of Cipher (http://www.cipher.com), a global leader in the cybersecurity industry with operations in 15 countries. Ed led two rounds of multimillion-dollar private equity investments and as the majority shareholder sold the company to Prosegur (http://www.prosegur.com), a 5 Billion dollar European publicly traded company leader in the private security industry. After selling the company, Cipher became the global cybersecurity division of Prosegur and Ed continued working as the CEO of Cipher for 3 years until the end of his lock-up period. Ed is also the Founder & Chairman of Blockbit (http://www.blockbit.com), a next-generation cloud and network security technology company with over 3,000 active corporate clients, over 1 million users and with presence in 10 countries. Ed partially sold Blockbit to two private equity firms in a multimillion-dollar deal
