Tonie Smith debuted in Real Estate as a Sales Agent then quickly transitioned to the role of advisor and client relationship manager, assisting the brokerage with development of bi-lingual service options for its diverse customer base. She developed a knack for defining processes to increase client satisfaction and improve productivity, and Tonie held on to those objectives throughout her career. From managing small teams to working as a franchise sales consultant for Fortune 500 companies, her commitment was to assist businesses to operate more efficiently, effectively, and profitably.

Then, while prepping for the home inspector exam, Tonie discovered her passion for drones and started TS Aerial Media with a goal to build a bridge between this booming technology and the Real Estate and Property Management industries. In 2019 she left her role in Real Estate management to promote drone tech adoption and education in a variety of industries in need.  In addition to expanding her client base for drone services and education, she also actively supports Women & Drones, is a member of the San Diego FAAST Safety Team, and supports the multiple Police Department Drone First Responder (DFR) programs as the Recruiting and Training Manager for Flying Lion, Inc.
