Today, we go through scene 88 in the Taxes universe, to see what phrases we could borrow in our every day life :)

今天，我們通過 Taxes 宇宙中的 Scene 88，看看我們可以在日常生活中藉用哪些短語 :)


【學習筆記】

  • "You okay? Caught you staring off into space again." 不是抓到你凝視太空!

    • 這句話是說「你還好嗎？你又發呆了。」

    • Paperwork = 文件 = documents, forms, letters, files, etc.
      • Drop-off = 翻譯器會說這是「放下」，可是他的意思是「送」，就比如說: 送孩子上學 to drop off a child at school，送文件 to drop off some paperwork，送東西 to drop off something。

        • 如果你想和對方說「把我送到車站可以嗎？」可以這樣問： Could you drop me off at the bus station? 或者是「把我送到學校」是：could you please drop me off at school?

        • "Don't spoil the surprise!" = 不要破壞驚喜！
          • spoil could mean many things, but it all means to ruin something.
          • food could be spoiled 我們可以用 "spoiled" 來形容食物變質
          • spoiler = 劇透
          • a spoiled child = 被寵壞的孩子
