In 2022, we offered a helpful tip every month, to help you up your game when it comes to spoken English. This year, we're putting our best tip to test! We think it's a solid idea! Especially if you're  holed  up  somewhere, this is a fantastic film to watch and script to read along!

Some key phrases 關鍵短語 from today's session:

  • "yeah, what a dump" - dump can be a verb, but also a noun. Here, it is a noun, describing a not so nice place...a crappy place. 多麼糟糕的地方! 多麼破的地方!
  • Grows on you 不是「長在你身上」! If something grows on you, it means you like it more and more! 逐漸為（某人）所喜愛；使（某人）越來越喜歡! 日舊生情!

    • 《馬達加斯加》是2005年電腦動畫喜劇電影，也是系列首部電影，由湯姆·麥葛瑞斯和埃里克·達奈爾執導。電影講述中央公園動物園的四隻動物：牠們本來過著舒適的圈養生活，但在一次意外中漂流到馬達加斯加島上。
