April XION XY episode was handled by Rory from Aww Man:"It's been a longstanding tradition on the Aww Man radio program to play at least one song per show with a crying vocalist. So when the good folks at XION offered up a guest slot on their Radio Punctum show, it seemed like a great occasion to put together a full playlist of crying vocalists, with a few laughing ones thrown in for good measure. Also, it just so happened that what was in the archives was predominantly R&B and adjacent styles from the 1950s and 1960s, since unfortunately, none of the post-punk / punk / shoegaze / stuff played on Aww Man and found on Bandcamp seems to include any crying at all.Of course, all of the vocalists here are just pretending to laugh and cry, or are they?"
