Story text
The island of Ponza is considered one of the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean. Anyone who has been there will confirm this. However, this island is hardly known outside of Italy. It has rocky coasts, a hilly landscape, beautiful beaches reminiscent of the Caribbean, and caves with turquoise waters. The most famous beach is Chiaia di Luna. A stone wall surrounds this bay, which can be reached through an ancient pedestrian tunnel. Centuries ago, some of the caves were used for fish farming, as well as for religious purposes. You can still see ancient statues of gods and other decorations.
