In the 1990s we looked with great anticipation towards the 21st century when we were unexpectedly faced with a dilemma. A small oversight could potentially shutdown vital computer systems worldwide New Year’s Eve, 1999. This scenario became known as “y2k.” It created a great sense of urgency to fix the problem or see the world as we know it crash around us.

Today, our world is still facing a potential crisis. It has nothing to do with a date on our calendar but rather our own date with eternity.
