Has anyone else been overworking themselves throughout this pandemic? Restrictions were lifted and we booked our schedule TO THE MAX!! When are we going to slow down? If you're like me, and don't see time to stop until the second wave hits and lockdown is back up and running, than I want you to join me in getting prepared to have life force us to slow down once again, but this time, we'll do even better with this gift of time!
Featured Track:
Montell Fish - Movin' Fast
This time of year has a special way of inducing stress. I've been going through it for sure, and I know I'm not alone. This episode was a note to self, but I know this isn't just for me. Even if your life is smooth sailing right now, I'm sure that you can relate to a time where you felt overwhelmed. I hope this episode encourages you! You've got this!
I know y'all it's been a minute but we're bacckkkkkk!!!
Something that's been heavy on my heart to share, was my conviction between my faith and the dependency I developed on the Zodiac and all the astrological things. After having a conversation with my friend, Wam, I invited her to join os for the conversation. Tap in, share, and tell us about your perspective on the zodiac!
Shoutout to KB for this weeks track!
Hold Me Back - KB
The news is always terrifying, but it's been extremely horrific these past couple of weeks. I thought I would use this platform to bring awareness to those who don't know and bring hope to those directly impacted by whats happening.
#AllEyesOnMikmaki #EndSARS #AfricaIsBleeding
I believe by Mali Music is what we've got playing this week!
Grieving sucks, but we can't avoid it. At some point in our lives we will cross paths with death, and it's not going to feel the greatest. In the midst of this time of reflection and grief in my own life, I want to tilt your chin back up and remind you that you're not alone, it's okay to take your time, but there's more reason to keep moving forward than to look back.
This week's featured song is one of my favourites:
Heaven All Around Me by Saba
A couple of weeks ago I fasted for three days. Those three days opened my eyes to the power of cravings, temptation, and unhealthy desires. Those vices we use to escape our reality and fulfil our voids.
We got Tyler on the track!
Puppet - TylerThe Creator
With the current results of Breonna Taylor's case my heart broke all over again. As a black woman, I'm angry, and I believe that I have a right to be. Despite the negative connotations that come with that, I decided to take a creative spin by channeling my anger through the satisfying sounds of ASMR.
I hope this episode has you feeling conflicted, maybe then you'll have a better understanding of the "Angry Black Woman".
Thanking Phil Beaudraeu for this weeks track!
Faith and Anger - Phil Beaudreau
The colour of the leaves aren't the only thing that's changing! This time of year always feels like a new start or shift. If you're feeling that as well, I hop this episode speaks to you and encourages you to keep your eyes focused on whats at the end of this transition in your life.
This weeks track is Life Changes by Casey Veggies feat. Phil Beaudreau
Something that can help or hinder depending on how we use them... yes, I am talking about boundaries. In this episode, we unpack a little bit about why boundaries are important, how we can sue them to our advantage, and how they allow us to take back power over our own lives.
FKJ blessing this weeks episode with a laid back tune!

Welcome to Part FIVE y'all! We're at the end of this series! We're getting into the tea that took me through a full 360 turn.
How have you discovered faith for yourself? Have you tried God? If not, why haven't you?
I ask this to make you think about why you may feel resistance towards the thought of pursuing and and discerning whether or your thoughts are geared toward religion or God Himself. If you can get to know a spiritual practice, don't count God out.
This weeks two-step is initiated by J-Moss!
