“ AS you sent me in to the world, I have sent them into the world. For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified” John 17:18-19 You have to understand that Jesus set himself apart for Gods' purpose. That is both the basis and condition or our being set apart. We are sanctified and sent because Jesus was. Our Lords sanctification is the pattern of and power for our own.
The Sabbath is known as a day of rest… but it is so much more than that. It is an intentional livelihood and mindset shift for people of the Christian and Jewish faith. We all know how easy it can be to lose sight of what matters most. Thankfully, the Lord created the Sabbath to cultivate a rhythm of reset and reconnection due to the mundane busyness of life. Join us today as we discuss the origins of the Sabbath and how this ancient ritual that predates Jesus’ birth ultimately points to his fulfillment of being the Messiah.
A spiritual revival is often the first step in a recommitment to God. It is a time of paradoxical emotions: sorrow and joy. Sorrow for the sins committed against a holy God; joy for the reality that his mercies renew every morning. As we sit, unabashedly, in this joy and hear from chandler today, meditate on practical ways you can remember the Lord in the everyday. This can help you cultivate a lifestyle filled with the joy of the Lord.
Joy. Pure, uninhibited joy. It’s something we hear about and long for but may feel unattainable. It may feel like the proverbial dog chasing the bone tied to a stick. We know it’s there… we can see it… but we can’t quite catch it. It starts from a shift in your spiritual paradigm. God longs to use our trials and mundane experiences for our good and His glory. By shifting our mindsets, we can begin to harbor a deep-seated contentment in the reality that God is in control. This, then, cultivates joy… even in jail cells! Join us today as we explore this in more detail and hear how the Lord truly does break every chain.
Deep seated gladness despite the circumstances. Join us as Pastor Turner Moore brings us a message on our new series Joy.
In this message, we learn the importance of how to lean on the fourth man in the fire. How we have to have a good theology of suffering, and how Christ meets us while / when we suffer.
Please join us as we hear from Chandler Braxton, in a message that he describes as a Biblical reason why it is very un wise to put our trust in anything other than God.
The thought of having to cut a message from this series was not something we could go through with. "It would be a missing piece of the puzzle, that one piece that completes the puzzle." Even though this is only episode 2 of this series, we take a different approach and sit down with Pastor Turner Moore, and the "Levitical Priest" Chandler Braxton. Get your Bibles out, your favorite pen and paper ( highlighters too for those of you who like to color ) and get ready for another amazing message.
