Here I am, my mind is broken. I feel the darkness sink inside of me. And here I’m floating with the tide, hoping that the currents will lead to better times.

All hope is gone, your time has come, let me take control, make us whole. I can ease your suffering, all you have to do, is let the darkness consume all that’s left of you.

I took the bait out of desperation. Now I’m hanging by a thread that’s starting to snap. Can You here me Jesus? I’m crying out to You. I’m tired of the pain, the world has put me through.

Will you save me from this tide? The waves are crashing one last time. I can see the sunrise above the clouds. The land is so far away, can’t make it on my own.

I hear a voice inside my head: “Inhale the breath of life I give. I am here for you, You can lay your burdens at My feet."

The depths of hell lay baron. For on this day I arise renewed!
