Psalm 10:1-18.

“In times of present trouble we must remember Yahweh’s past deliverance,” this is what we learned last week in Psalm 9. BUT if we are honest, there are seasons where we wrestle with this truth. And that’s because in our prayers for present deliverance Yahweh doesn’t always act HOW we might expect Him to or WHEN we might expect Him to. Our experience reminds us there have been times of present trouble that went seemingly unnoticed by our Living God. And in these moments our natural intuition is to assume God has forsaken us nor does He see us. But Psalm 10 serves as the reminder that when Yahweh feels absent in times of trouble, we can take heart for He sees us even if we miss Him.
