Born in Toronto, Canada, Scoria was crowdfunded on Kickstarter and offers the most creative & imaginative high quality cork yoga mats. At Scoria, they believe that reconnecting with lost creativity enhances our mental and physical well-being and that creativity must be embraced with kindness. Yara creates products that encourage a youthful mindset such as playfulness, imagination, and story-telling. She designed her products to encourage her consumers to rediscover who they were before the world told us who to be in order to spark the child within. Yara shares what lead her to dedicate her life to create a brand that serves as a reminder of a connection to the playful, creative & imaginative qualities we had when we were children all while giving back one yoga mat at a time.
