Since the days of American Chattel Slavery, Black women have been both overly sexualized and desexualized; for the benefit of everyone but themselves, fighting for autonomy over their bodies.

This week, we discussed the oppression black women face; regarding their sexual liberation throughout history and the present. We also discussed how that oppression affected us before we became sexually liberated.
