It’s often very easy for us to see what we believe other people are doing “wrong” in their own lives. It’s also often clear what we like or don’t like about the people who are in our lives. It’s not often easy for us to admit when we are part of the problem in our relationships or in commitments.
Why? Because truthfully, no matter how much healing you’ve done, no one enjoys admitting their faults. It’s tough (and brave) work! But there’s so much power in admitting where you need to shift, because you can’t control everyone else but you can control a lot of what you say, do, and commit to.
