La Fortuna Tips

  • Soda Viquez is cheap and has the best food
  • Mistico Hanging Bridges, Sky Tram & Zipline, and white water rafting are fun activities

Playa Guiones Tips

  • Try out Go Juice, 10 Pies, Rosi’s Soda, Naked Foods, Pura Pizza, food trucks, Pacifico Azul, El Local, Rolling Waves Coffee, Marlin Bills, Cafe de Paris, and Luna’s
  • The mini super in Playa Guiones is SUPER expensive
  • Try to get a ride to the bigger supermarket in town which is less expensive
  • Take a surf lesson at Nosara CR Surf School, Juan’s Surf School, or Andrew’s Surf School
  • Thursday nights are party nights in the streets and by the food truck area
  • Get a drink at Howlers and bring it to the beach for sunset
  • Keep your ears open for a jungle rave!!!

Tamarindo Tips

  • Buy a ton of alcohol at the store because everyone parties on the beach at night so you want to stock up before the stores close
  • Be smart and don’t leave anything on the beach
