YEM returns with an exclusive interview with Kai Zen in the film, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3! For those who need a refresher on the film, Peter rallies the team to defend the universe and Rocket, and if they aren't successful in this endeavor, it could spell the end of the Guardians as they know it.

We briefly asked about her whereabouts when she received the news of her casting. Kai was just returning home from school and was in the car when her Mom shared the news. Kai remembered that there was a lot of screaming and a lot of celebrating, and she had to keep this a secret for a long time. She remembered having to keep her role a secret for about a year.
