When we face defeats or failures, we ask God, "Why?" or "Why didn't you care?"

It feels miserable when we feel like there is no way out. Did God fail? Or did he allow this to happen to me?

Daniel had an experience like that. His country was conquered, and his city was destroyed. He was separated and taken as a captive. If the story ends like this, it is pretty miserable. But that wasn't the end of it. In this episode, we ask that tough question and see how God turns our defeats into an awesome victory.

우리가 실폐를 경험하거나 좌절할 때, 하나님께 이런 질문을 하곤하죠. "왜죠?" 아니면 "왜 하나님은 신경을 안쓰시는 건가요?"

이럴때면 절망감이 들죠. 아무대도 기댈곳이 없는 것처럼 느껴지구요. 하나님이 믿을만한 분이 아닌가? 왜 나에게 이런 일이 일어나는 것을 놔두시나?

성경에 다니엘은 이런 실망과 좌절을 처절히 경험한 사람이었습니다. 그의 나라가 정복당하고, 그가 살던 고향이 황폐하게 변했죠. 가족과 생이별을 해야했고, 포로로 잡혀갔습니다. 이쯤에서 이야기가 끝났다면 참 참담한 이야기가 아닐 수 없을겁니다. 하지만 다니엘의 이야기는 여기서 끝이 아니었습니다. 이번 에피소드에서는 하나님께서 어떻게 우리의 좌절과 실패를 승리로 이끄시는지에 대해서 이야기 해보려고 합니다.
