Tyler and Mike are not on the same page this week as we they discuss and review Star Trek Lower Decks Season 5 Episode 8: Upper Decks. We also look back at TNG's 7th season episode Genesis, one of MANY inspirations for this episode. We'll talk about them all as we continue our countdown to the end of Lower Decks.

This week we're reviewing Lower Decks Season 5 Episode 6: Of Gods and Angles! For our look back at classic trek, and as a final send off to movember, we discuss all the facial hair that came before Brad Boimler's recent attempt at a beard.

This week we reviewed Star Trek: Lower Decks Season 5 Episode 5: Starbase 80?!. We discuss the writing in Star Trek, film and TV in general, why we think there are writing issues in more modern stories. We also take a look back at the El-Aurian species and our favourite everyone goes crazy / illness takes over the ship episodes of classic Star Trek.

This week we review Star Trek Lower Decks Season 5 Episode 4 A Farewell to Farms. Spoiler alert, Mike hated this episode, don't worry, Tyler defends it. We also discuss Star Trek recovery episodes, episodes that take place after large events or update us on where our characters are after large events.

What Captain do you not want discipling you? This week we wrap up our recap of Star Trek Lower Decks by reviewing season 4 and talking about what we are excited about for the 5th and final season. We also take a look back at the TNG episode First Duty, a big influence for the flow of season 4.

We move on to season 3 of Lower Decks and do something a bit different this week as we discuss some of our favourite evil admirals from the history of Star Trek.
