On this episode I sat down with Nathan Mills from Beyond the Guitar.
You'll love the energy and encouragement he brings.
Nathan is an accomplished musician, having played guitar most of his life. A self-proclaimed nerd at heart, years ago he started posting short video covers on Vine - remember Vine? - then on Youtube. These were short clips, featuring music from movies and video games. Now he runs a successful online business, teaching thousands to master their instruments.
He's also completely transformed his body.
Over the course of 9 months, Nathan lost 60 pounds, and is now in the best shape of his life.
So what's his secret? How did he get so good at guitar, so disciplined with his eating and working out?
Nathan doesn't believe he possesses any particularly out-of-this-world talent. He attributes much of his success to having the right mindset, and to persevering, even when it's hard.
He thinks most of us can accomplish far more than we think we're capable of, if we are willing to put in the investment.
And here's the thing - he's seen the proof of concept proven out multiple times - first with playing guitar, then with building a business, and now with his personal health and fitness.
You'll be so encouraged and inspired by Nathan's story.
If you want to pick up that dusty old guitar, or finally gain control of your fitness, this episode is for you.
If you like to be inspired by stories of startup businesses, this episode is for you.
If you are pursuing some other long-term goal like writing a book, this episode is for you.
Stay tuned to the end of this episode for a special audio outro clip recorded by our guest.
