People should be safest at church, but sometimes it’s the most dangerous place to be. The deadliest mass shooting in Texas history took place at First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs on Sunday morning, killing at least 26 people and wounding at least 20. The gunman reportedly used a Ruger AR-15 variant to mow down parishioners before he fled the scene and was found dead in his vehicle by authorities.
