In this episode I go over the best games that I played in 2022. The list comes includes some retro games as well as indie and budget games.

In this episode, I talk about the novel Shadowkeep. This is the first novelization of a video game. It is a nice story that stands on its own without any knowledge of the game. I also talk about Robotrek on the SNES. It is an okay RPG with many ideas that aren’t really explored or developed.

Hey everyone! In this episode, I talk about the history of Koei, the NES games that they released, and which games I think are the best for someone getting into the Koei library. I also review the GoldenEye 007 book from Boss Fight Books and talk about the Secret of Evermore.

In this episode, I go over the Worlds of Power book. I will briefly go over it; and there will be a more comprehensive review of each of the books and the series as a whole.

I give a review of Shining Force on the Sega Genesis. It is a good game that is kind of a midpoint in the creation of the Tactical RPG.

I talk about Corridors of Time by Jeremy Dunn. It's a good book with some minor problems.

I started collecting the Worlds of Power, Sega Power, and Sega Forces books. These are novelizations of video games. The books were written and published in the early 90s.

Lastly, I talk about the retro games that I've been playing. Pokemon Yellow, Pokemon Crystal, and Shining Force are the games that I'll be going through in the last section.

I talk about Disrupting the Game by Reggie Fils-Aime and a bit about the book The Walkthrough by Doug Walsh. Most of this episode is about Disrupting the Game.

I also talk a little about Tales of Destiny and Imperialism. This section was about me talking about why I'm struggling to understand why I play the games that I play. 

I go over the three Commodore books by Brian Bagnall.

The books covered are On the Edge, The Amiga Years, and The Final Years.

I liked the books but felt that there didn't need to be three. There is a fair bit of overlap between them, and I feel like some sides of the story were missing. Overall, Brian did a great job of putting all of this together, even if there were some things that he couldn't get.
